This year, on 15 June 2025, the 13th Duisburg Duck Race took place in the Inner Harbour, and we at Hotel Rheingarten were also pleased to contribute our part.
The proceeds from the race benefit VKM Duisburg e. V. The association for people with physical and multiple disabilities in Duisburg is committed to supporting adults, seniors, children and young people with disabilities, as well as their families.
It was founded in 1964 as a parent self-help group. Today, it comprises around 150 family memberships. The association works according to the principle: Together we are strong. It supports and relieves families and parents of children with disabilities and promotes independent participation in social life.
We are already looking forward to welcoming the lucky winners of our voucher for a stay at our hotel.
